1. About this policy
This policy covers cookies, local storage, session storage and browser caches used by the MCast Studio website. These technologies can store information on your device. It complements our Privacy policy. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@mcaststudio.com.
2. Your choice
Optional external media, saved public content and visitor statistics are off until you choose to allow them. The banner lets you accept all optional purposes, reject all or choose each category in Cookie preferences. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent browsing, account access, support or checkout. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using in this page or the website footer. A changed choice applies to this browser; other browsers and devices have separate choices.
3. Essential storage
We use essential storage to provide features you request, such as keeping you signed in, protecting administrator sessions, completing email-link or desktop sign-in and remembering your selected website language. This is separate from optional consent and is not used for advertising.
- Privacy choices:
mcast.privacy.choicesin local storage records this policy version, the date of your choice and the three category settings. It contains no account identifier. We ask again after 180 days or when the consent version changes. - Website language:
mcast.website.languagestores the language you select until you change it or clear your browser storage. - Account authentication: Firebase Authentication stores sign-in state in browser storage. Customer sign-in can persist until sign-out, expiry or browser storage removal. Administrator sign-in uses session storage; our secure, HTTP-only
__sessionadministrator cookie expires after one hour. - Secure flow information: temporary sign-in and desktop activation state uses session storage. The administrator email-link flow remembers the entered email in
mcast-admin-emailso the link can be completed in the same browser; it remains until replaced or removed through browser storage controls.
Authentication, anti-abuse challenges and payment providers may use their own necessary storage when you start sign-in, verification or checkout. Their services include Google/Firebase and the payment provider named at checkout. They process information needed for the service and their privacy notices apply. Optional consent does not disable these requested security and payment features.
4. Optional external media
When enabled, videos and community or Blog images hosted by third parties may load. Without permission, third-party images remain hidden and embedded videos do not start. Video playback still requires your click. Providers may include YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, Vimeo and image hosts chosen for community or Blog content. Loading their content shares your IP address and browser information with that provider, and the provider may use cookies or similar technologies. Third-party retention and storage depend on that provider's current policy.
Withdrawing this permission removes external players and images from the current page and prevents further loads. It cannot undo information already transmitted or delete storage on a third-party domain. Use browser settings or the provider's controls to remove that storage. Ordinary outbound links take you to another site only when you choose to open them.
5. Optional saved public content
When enabled, the browser Cache API uses mcast-public-content to retain validated public plans, website content and Blog listing data. This supports faster rendering and recovery when the public content service is unavailable. It contains public content only, not account records, private tickets or payment decisions. It remains until replaced, you withdraw this choice, your browser removes it or you clear site data. Rejecting or withdrawing this category deletes this public cache; current content can still be delivered over the network. Normal HTTP caching is controlled by browser and server cache headers.
6. Optional visitor statistics
If you allow Visitor statistics, Google Analytics helps us understand visits to public pages, approximate country and city, device and browser types, referring websites, and clicks on downloads or the Microsoft Store link. These are click counts, not confirmation that software was installed. Google receives browser and network information needed to process these measurements. We do not request your device's precise location.
We do not load the Analytics tag or send Analytics measurements before this permission. Account, sign-in, payment, support-ticket and administrator pages are not tracked. We do not send names, email addresses, account identifiers, form entries, URL query parameters or URL fragments to Analytics. Referring URLs are reduced to the website origin. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled; we do not use advertising pixels or remarketing cookies.
Analytics uses the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_70K451XXZ7 on this website's current hostname to distinguish browsers and sessions. We set their lifetime to 180 days without extending it on each visit. Withdrawing this permission stops further measurements from our tag and removes these cookies. It does not remove reports or information already received by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for its processing and controls. We ask for consent again when adding a new optional purpose; previous choices do not automatically enable visitor statistics.
7. Browser controls and changes
You can review and clear site data in your browser settings. Removing essential account storage may sign you out. If storage is blocked, optional choices apply only to the current page and we cannot remember them for your next visit. Clearing privacy choices displays the banner again. We update this page when our technologies or purposes change and show the revised date above.
