How do I organize and reopen a production collection?
Choose Collection > New. Enter Collection name. Reopen the intended collection and verify its layouts and sources.
How do I create a layout for my show?
Select the collection. Choose Layouts > New. Check the selected layout’s picture and its attached destinations.
How do I create and switch scenes?
Use the Scenes panel Add action. Enter the scene name. Switch between two scenes and check the intended picture.
How do I preview a scene before taking it live?
Select the next scene in Preview. Choose the scene transition and ms duration. Check that editing Preview leaves the intended Program picture on air until the take.
How do I position, crop, and resize a source?
Select an unlocked visual source in Preview. Move or resize it with the canvas handles. Check the source bounds and the final Program picture.
How do I reuse a source in another scene?
Open the target scene. Choose Add in Sources. Check the source in both scenes after the assignment.
How do I group sources together?
Select the sources to group. Right-click and choose Group Selected Sources. Check the group’s arrangement and visibility in the scene.
How do I place one scene inside another?
Create the reusable scene first. Open the destination scene. Check that the nested scene appears inside the destination scene.
How do I add a transition between scenes?
Choose New in Transitions. Enter a name and select Transition type. Preview the transition and check timing and sound before the live take.
How do I use a stinger transition?
Name the transition and choose the media file under Stinger Media. Review Detected duration ms. Check the scene change point and both the transition picture and audio.
How do I watch several scenes on a projector or multiview?
Open Preview or Program options. Choose the projector display or window option. Check the selected display and the scenes shown there.
How do I save or restore my workspace arrangement?
Open a layout. Choose View > Layout Docks. Load the saved workspace and confirm the dock arrangement.
