How do I create a layout for my show?

Follow this workflow to create a layout for my show.

Before you start

Decide the canvas size and frame rate needed for the show.

Where to find it

Layouts > New or Manage.

Steps

Select the collection.
Choose Layouts > New.
Enter Layout Name.
Choose Layout Type.
Choose Render Settings and the video, audio, codec, color, and resize selections.
Save the layout.
Open it from Layouts > Layouts.

Check the result

Check the selected layout’s picture and its attached destinations.

Helpful information

Layouts in the same collection share scene/source content, source visibility and lock, Preview/Program scene selection, and transitions. Position, size, crop, and bounds can differ between layouts. Changing the editor layout does not redirect an already running output. Duplicate, rename, import, export, and remove layouts from the Layouts menu.

If something is wrong

If the wrong show appears, check the active layout and output feed.
