How do I add a lower third or motion graphic?

Follow this workflow to add a lower third or motion graphic.

Before you start

Prepare a compatible motion template and the text/data to show.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Motion Template.

Steps

  1. Create the source.
  2. Choose its Template from the library.
  3. Choose Source of data.
  4. Enter manual values or choose Project, Source, and Row.
  5. Bind each exposed field to a Table/Column and optional Format.
  6. Set manual playback, Auto next, Loop, and Speed.
  7. Save and check Preview.

Check the result

Preview its text, timing, and position before taking it live.

Helpful information

Row is zero-based. Format uses {0} for the value. Manual data supports Add/Edit/Delete and Up/Down. The Motion Graphics dock refreshes a data source and moves to previous/next rows. Instance settings change exposed appearance/assets for this use.

If something is wrong

If values are wrong, check the selected template and its exposed data fields.
