How do I add a countdown or clock to a graphic?
Follow this workflow to add a countdown or clock to a graphic.
Before you start
Choose the template and whether you need a clock, countdown, or stopwatch.
Where to find it
Motion Template designer > text element properties > Text Type.
Steps
- Select the text element.
- Choose Type: Text, Countdown, Count-Up, Date Time, or Stopwatch.
- For Text, enter Content.
- For the selected timed type, set Range Seconds, Start Seconds, and its offered format.
- For Date Time, choose Date/Time Format, Custom Date/Time where needed, and Time Zone.
- Set font, alignment, wrapping, and sizing.
- Preview and save.
Check the result
Preview the timer text and its start/stop behavior.
