Subtitle Template designer

Design the appearance of subtitles and their word highlighting.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Tools > Subtitle Template Designer.

Use it

1. Open the designer.
2. Create or open the subtitle template.
3. Set subtitle text/font and background.
4. Set Max Lines, Line Spacing, and padding.
5. Set Highlight mode and appearance if needed.
6. Preview and Save.
7. Select the template in Subtitle properties.

Controls and additional tasks

The designer shares layer, element, effect, animation, and data controls with Motion Template designer. Subtitle preview text and active-index/progress controls help preview the style.
