Overlay and underlay channels
Organize reusable channels and design the area they occupy.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Options > Overlay Channels or Underlay Channels.
Use it
- Choose New on the channel Options page.
- Enter Name and ID.
- Choose Overlay Type or Own Overlay when shown.
- Save.
- Select the channel and choose Design.
- Move/resize its area, select a transition, and Save.
Controls and additional tasks
Use Up/Down to reorder channels. Edit changes channel settings; Delete removes the selected channel. Own Overlay associates the underlay with its overlay arrangement.

| Own Overlay | Turn this option on or off for this item. |
