How do I add and bypass a visual filter?

Follow this workflow to add and bypass a visual filter.

Before you start

Select the correct source and decide the adjustment you want.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters.

Steps

  1. Select the source.
  2. Open Filters.
  3. Choose Add Filter.
  4. Search/select the effect and add it.
  5. Adjust its controls while watching the preview.
  6. Use Up/Down or drag rows to change order.

Check the result

Compare enabled and bypassed pictures in Preview.

Helpful information

Filters run top to bottom. The enable checkbox bypasses a filter without removing it. Reset restores selected-filter defaults. Delete removes it. Save as Preset saves a reusable chain. Copy Filters/Paste Filters transfers the chain to another source. Face-selection actions appear only for the corresponding face effect.

If something is wrong

Check filter order, enabled state, and required source/file selections.
