Built-in filters

Color Key

Color removal for graphics and windows.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Open the selected input/source Filters.
  2. Choose the appropriate Add action.
  3. Select Color Key.
  4. Adjust the settings below.
  5. Compare enabled and bypassed results.
  6. Close the filter editor when finished.

Controls and additional tasks

Filter order changes the combined result. Bypass keeps settings without applying the effect; Delete removes it. Reset restores defaults.

Effect settings

SettingUse and limits
Key Color TypeSet key color type for this effect. Default: green; Choices: Green, Blue, Red, Magenta, Custom.
Key ColorSet key color for this effect. Default: #FF00FF00.
SimilaritySet similarity for this effect. Default: 80; Range: 1.0–1000.0.
SmoothnessSet smoothness for this effect. Default: 50; Range: 1.0–1000.0.
OpacityTransparency: lower values reveal content behind the item. Default: 1; Range: 0.0–1.0.
ContrastAdjust the contrast of the result. Default: 0; Range: -4.0–4.0.
BrightnessAdjust the brightness of the result. Default: 0; Range: -1.0–1.0.
GammaAdjust the gamma of the result. Default: 0; Range: -1.0–1.0.

If something is wrong

If the result is unexpected, bypass the filter and then enable it with defaults.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
