Scaling/Aspect Ratio
Changes the source shape and size.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Use it
- Open the selected input/source Filters.
- Choose the appropriate Add action.
- Select Scaling/Aspect Ratio.
- Adjust the settings below.
- Compare enabled and bypassed results.
- Close the filter editor when finished.
Controls and additional tasks
Filter order changes the combined result. Bypass keeps settings without applying the effect; Delete removes it. Reset restores defaults.
Effect settings
| Setting | Use and limits |
|---|---|
| Scale Filtering | Interpolation used when resizing the picture. Default: bicubic; Choices: Point, Bilinear, Bicubic, Lanczos, Area. |
| Resolution | Set resolution for this effect. Default: none; Choices: None, Base Canvas, 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 1:1, 1920x1080, 1280x720, 1080x1920, 720x1280. |
| Undistort Center of Image | Enable or disable undistort center of image. Default: false. |
If something is wrong
If the result is unexpected, bypass the filter and then enable it with defaults.
Stop or remove
Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
