Built-in filters
MCast Freeze
Freeze the source picture until you release or refresh the filter.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Use it
- Open the selected input/source Filters.
- Choose the appropriate Add action.
- Select MCast Freeze.
- Adjust the settings below.
- Compare enabled and bypassed results.
- Close the filter editor when finished.
Controls and additional tasks
Filter order changes the combined result. Bypass keeps settings without applying the effect; Delete removes it. Reset restores defaults.
Effect settings
| Setting | Use and limits |

| Maximum Duration (0 for indefinite) | Freeze duration; 0 keeps the frozen state indefinitely. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100000.0. |
| Refresh Interval (0 for no refresh) | Interval between frozen-image refreshes; 0 disables refresh. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100000.0. |
| Delay Start (0 for no delay) | Wait before freeze begins; 0 starts without delay. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100000.0. |
| Delay End (0 for no delay) | Wait before freeze ends; 0 ends without delay. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100000.0. |
| Log Activation | Enable or disable log activation. Default: false. |
| Mask | Enable or disable mask. Default: false. |
| Mask Left | Left edge of the masked area. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100.0. |
| Mask Right | Right edge of the masked area. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100.0. |
| Mask Top | Top edge of the masked area. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100.0. |
| Mask Bottom | Bottom edge of the masked area. Default: 0; Range: 0.0–100.0. |
| Activate | Set activate for this effect. Default: 0; Choices: None, Enable Freeze, Disable Freeze. |
| Deactivate | Set deactivate for this effect. Default: 0; Choices: None, Enable Freeze, Disable Freeze. |
| Show | Set show for this effect. Default: 0; Choices: None, Enable Freeze, Disable Freeze. |
| Hide | Set hide for this effect. Default: 0; Choices: None, Enable Freeze, Disable Freeze. |
If something is wrong
If the result is unexpected, bypass the filter and then enable it with defaults.
Stop or remove
Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
