Automation & remote control

How do I control the show from a browser?

Follow this workflow to control the show from a browser.

Before you start

Use a trusted local network and prepare access protection and allowed controls.

Where to find it

Tools > Web Controller.

Steps

  1. Enable Web Controller.
  2. Choose Port.
  3. Require username and password and set them.
  4. Choose permissions for status, layouts, scenes/transitions, and output.
  5. Choose Save.
  6. Copy URL and open it on the intended trusted device.
  7. Sign in and use the permitted controls.

Check the result

Open the controller and test only the intended permitted actions.

Helpful information

Browser traffic is not encrypted; use a trusted local network. Disable output permission if the controller should only cue scenes. Existing passwords remain until replaced. Service Status shows state after the last save. Closing without Save leaves the saved configuration unchanged.

If something is wrong

Check service status, saved access settings, and permissions; keep output permission disabled when only scene cueing is needed.
