Find and present Platform Chat messages

Browse incoming conversations, keep message classes separate, and select messages for presentation.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Platform Chat dock.

Set it up

Use Filter to choose the platform.
Enter text in Search to find messages.
Choose All Chat, Free Chat, Paid Chat, Member Chat, or Favorite Chat.
Open a message for the complete text and its available reply/presentation actions.
Use Add to Broadcast only when the message is intended for display.

Chat classes

Paid messages and member messages stay separate in their respective views. Favorite Chat contains saved favorites. An empty view can mean no message of that class has arrived yet.

On-screen template

The chat selected with Add to Broadcast is supplied to every active Platform Chat source. Choose its template in source properties and map exposed values to message properties.

Sending a reply

A host message is sent to every connected platform from the host composer; Ctrl+Enter sends it. Review the composer and intended audience before sending. A message window can reply on its original platform.
