MCast Hexagon

Applies the hexagon visual effect.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Select the source and open Filters.
  2. Choose Add Filter.
  3. Search for MCast Hexagon and add it.
  4. Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
  5. Compare with bypass enabled.
  6. Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.

Controls and additional tasks

Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.

Effect settings

SettingUse and limits
Expand LeftAdd space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand RightAdd space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand TopAdd space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand BottomAdd space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Hex Color XSet hex color x for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Hex Color YSet hex color y for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Hex Color ZSet hex color z for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Hex Color WSet hex color w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Alpha percentSet alpha percent for this effect. Default: 100; Range: 0–100.
QuantitySet quantity for this effect. Default: 25; Range: 0–100.
Border WidthAdjust border width; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 15; Range: 0–115.
BlendEnable or disable blend. Default: false.
EquilateralEnable or disable equilateral. Default: false.
Zoom AnimateEnable or disable zoom animate. Default: false.
Speed PercentAdjust speed percent; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 100; Range: 0–100.
GlitchEnable or disable glitch. Default: false.
Distort XSet distort x for this effect. Default: 1; Range: 0–10.
Distort YSet distort y for this effect. Default: 1; Range: 0–10.
Offset XHorizontal displacement. Default: 0; Range: 0–1.

If something is wrong

If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
