MCast VHS
Applies the vhs visual effect.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Use it
- Select the source and open Filters.
- Choose Add Filter.
- Search for MCast VHS and add it.
- Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
- Compare with bypass enabled.
- Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.
Controls and additional tasks
Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.
Effect settings
| Setting | Use and limits |

| Expand Left | Add space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Right | Add space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Top | Add space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Bottom | Add space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Wave size (0.05) | Adjust wave size (0.05); compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 0.05; Range: 0–0.2. |
| Offset intensity (0.02) | Adjust offset intensity (0.02); compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 0.02; Range: 0.01–0.2. |
| Noise number of lines (250) | Set noise number of lines (250) for this effect. Default: 250; Range: 1–1000. |
| Noise intensity (0.88) | Set noise intensity (0.88) for this effect. Default: 0.88; Range: 0–10. |
| Color offset intensity (1.3) | Adjust color offset intensity (1.3); compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 1.3; Range: 0–10. |
| Aplha percentage (100.0) | Set aplha percentage (100.0) for this effect. Default: 100; Range: 0–100. |
| Apply To Image | Enable or disable apply to image. Default: false. |
| Replace Image Color | Enable or disable replace image color. Default: false. |
| Color To Replace X | Set color to replace x for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Color To Replace Y | Set color to replace y for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Color To Replace Z | Set color to replace z for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Color To Replace W | Set color to replace w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Apply To Specific Color | Enable or disable apply to specific color. Default: false. |
If something is wrong
If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.
Stop or remove
Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
