Menus and navigation
The main menu controls the application and active collection. Each open layout has its own Edit, Manage, Docks, Window, and Output menus. Select the intended layout before using an action. Right-click scene/source cards, mixer strips, replay events, and Preview/Program surfaces for context-specific actions. An unavailable item can depend on selection, capability, entitlement, or the current output state.
Menu underscores indicate access-key markup and are not part of the displayed words.

Dynamic lists and status-bar access
- Collection > Collections lists saved collections; selecting one activates it.
- Layouts > Layouts lists saved layouts; selecting a layout opens/closes it as shown by the checkmark.
- View > Preview Monitor / Program Monitor lists available displays and window/projector choices. Monitor availability follows connected displays.
- Layout Window lists detached panels. Layout Outputs lists other available layout outputs. Custom Browser Docks lists saved collection web panels. Live Chat lists active broadcast chats.
- The status bar offers Open Broadcasts, Open Platform Chat, System performance, and BUY for plan access.
- Scene/source list View offers List, Details, Grid, and Compact Rows. Filter offers All and Visible.
Source menu choices
Scale Filtering changes resizing interpolation. Blending Mode changes how the source combines with the picture behind it; Blending Method changes its blending treatment. Deinterlacing handles incoming interlaced fields and offers field order. These options affect the selected source rather than the overall recording format. Screenshot format choices are PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, and WebP.
