Keyboard shortcuts and mouse actions
Shortcuts depend on the focused surface. A built-in menu gesture is active in that editing context; a template assignment is configurable and depends on the template being applied and enabled. A command without a listed template assignment has no assigned template key; choose one in File > Shortcuts.
Ctrl+S stretches a source to the screen in the scene editor. In supported properties dialogs and designers it saves. The main Edit menu shows Ctrl+Shift+Z for Redo; layout editing also binds Ctrl+Y. Designer Redo is Ctrl+Y. Space toggles source visibility when the Sources list is focused; it is not a universal playback key. Do not use a shortcut outside its listed context.

Dialog and tool keys
- Tab / Shift+Tab moves focus between controls.
- Ctrl+F focuses search in the Shortcuts window.
- Ctrl+S saves source properties where their Save tooltip identifies this shortcut. Use the visible Save button in other dialogs.
- Enter activates a dialog default action where configured; Esc cancels where supported.
- F11 toggles main-interface fullscreen.
- Ctrl+Enter sends a composed Platform Chat host message or reply.
- Left / Right Arrow fine-adjusts a focused video In/Out timeline handle.
Mouse actions
- Right-click cards and surfaces for context menus.
- Drag an unlocked visual source or its handles to position/resize it in Preview.
- Drag video timeline handles to adjust In/Out. Drag within the range to move it without changing duration; click/drag outside to seek.
- Drag slideshow rows and visual-filter rows to reorder.
- Double-click a supported properties slider thumb to restore its opening value. Double-click audio input balance to center it.
- Hold Shift and click Stop to stop Replay Suite recording from its recording button.
- Draw interaction uses the pointer for annotations while source movement/resize/crop is disabled.
Windows, Linux, and macOS
The listed Control-based shortcuts retain Control as their modifier. On macOS, Ctrl means Control; there is no blanket replacement with Command. Configurable assignments distinguish Control from Command/Meta. Capture the actual key combination in the shortcut editor. Linux global assignments can require desktop shortcut permission/support. macOS global control availability can depend on permissions. Check State and resolve conflicts with operating-system shortcuts.
