MCast Shine

Applies the shine visual effect.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Select the source and open Filters.
  2. Choose Add Filter.
  3. Search for MCast Shine and add it.
  4. Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
  5. Compare with bypass enabled.
  6. Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.

Controls and additional tasks

Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.

Effect settings

SettingUse and limits
Expand LeftAdd space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand RightAdd space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand TopAdd space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand BottomAdd space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
L Tex SourceSelect the l tex source used by this effect.
L Tex FileSelect the l tex file used by this effect.
Shine Color XSet shine color x for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Shine Color YSet shine color y for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Shine Color ZSet shine color z for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Shine Color WSet shine color w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000.
speed percentAdjust speed percent; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 25; Range: 0–100.
gradient percentSet gradient percent for this effect. Default: 20; Range: 0–100.
delay percentAdjust delay percent; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 50; Range: 0–100.
Apply To Alpha LayerEnable or disable apply to alpha layer. Default: false.
EaseEnable or disable ease. Default: false.
HideEnable or disable hide. Default: false.
ReverseEnable or disable reverse. Default: false.
One DirectionEnable or disable one direction. Default: true.
GlitchEnable or disable glitch. Default: false.
Start AdjustSet start adjust for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Stop AdjustSet stop adjust for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000.

If something is wrong

If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
