First launch and permissions
Set up the first workspace and grant the permissions requested for capture and controls.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Launch MCast Studio.
Use it
- Complete sign-in if requested.
- Review the permissions screen if it appears.
- Grant the requested permissions in your operating system.
- Choose Refresh to recheck permissions.
- Choose Continue when the required permissions are granted.
- In Setup, choose Default layout.
- Set Width, Height, and UI language.
- Choose Save.
Controls and additional tasks
Changing the setup language reopens MCast in that language after Save. Cancel preserves the current choice. On Windows, Save may offer a Yes/No camera repair prompt if camera preparation is required; declining lets workspace setup continue.

| Save | Save the edited settings. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
If something is wrong
If Continue is unavailable, recheck the permissions listed on the screen. Do not grant permissions to an unrelated application.
