Review installed version, latest release information, and published release notes.
Before you start
Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.
Where to find it
Help > Check for Updates.
Set it up
- Open the update window.
- Review Installed version and Latest release.
- Read What’s new in this version when notes are available.
- Use Check again to refresh, or Remind me tomorrow when offered.
Unavailable release notes
A message that notes have not been published does not imply an update was installed. Review the version fields independently.
Windows updates
Microsoft Store manages MCast Studio installation and updates. Use its supported update flow; the MCast window reports update/release information.
