Recording, broadcasting & outputs FAQ
Direct answers and complete workflows for recording, broadcasting & outputs.
How do I go live?
Open the intended layout and choose Output > Broadcast Output Profile > New. Enter Broadcast Output Name. Choose Broadcast Type and Broadcast Account, or Connect a new broadcast account. Check the destination running state, then open the receiving platform and confirm picture, sound, title, and audience. A local preview alone does not confirm viewers receive the stream.
How do I record a show?
Open Output > Recording Output Profile > New in the intended layout. Enter Recording Output Name and choose Output Feed. Stop a short sample and open the saved file. Check picture, duration, and every expected sound track before recording the full show.
How do I make ISO recordings?
Create or edit the layout Recording Output Profile. Set the picture/audio options, recording format, and main output folder. After stopping a short sample, open every expected isolated file and confirm it contains the intended audio. Check the main recording separately.
How do I start an external output?
Open the intended layout’s Output > External Output Profile > New. Enter External Output Name and choose Output Type for the receiver. Confirm the output is running and check the actual receiver for both picture and sound. A discovered device is not proof of successful delivery.

How do I record multiple audio tracks in one file?
Edit a Recording Output Profile, enable Record audio, and choose the output folder and a compatible multi-track format. Open Audio Track and use Add Track for each required track within the output’s supported count. Open a finished sample in an editor or player that can select individual audio tracks. Listen to each track separately; ordinary playback may play only one track.
Which output profile should I use?
