How do I split a long recording into shorter files?

Follow this workflow to split a long recording into shorter files.

Before you start

Choose the output folder and intended Chunk Duration.

Where to find it

Layout Output > Recording Output Profile.

Steps

Edit the intended Recording Output Profile and set its normal picture, audio, format, and folder.
Choose chunked recording under Recording Mode.
Set Chunk Duration for the length of the separately finalized files.
Save and attach the profile through Recording Destination.
Start a sample long enough to span more than one chunk.
Stop and inspect the files in the configured folder.

Check the result

After a sample longer than one chunk, stop and check the completed files.

If something is wrong

Use Chunked Recording Mode and check Chunk Duration. Do not expect a single file when chunking is enabled.
