How do I record audio without video?

Follow this workflow to record audio without video.

Before you start

Prepare the audio mix, output folder, and a compatible audio recording format.

Where to find it

Layout Output > Recording Output Profile.

Steps

Open the layout’s Output > Recording Output Profile and create or edit the intended profile.
Enable Record audio and disable Record video.
Choose a compatible File Format and select Output Folder.
Open Audio Track and assign Master, an enabled bus, or the intended input.
Save the profile and attach it through Recording Destination.
Start a short recording, wait for the running state, stop, and listen to the saved file.

Check the result

Open a finished sample and listen to the expected mix.
