Use a Browser transition

Run a selected web page or local web file as the transition visual.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Manage Transitions > MCast Browser Transition.

Set it up

  1. Choose URL, or enable Use local file and select Local web file.
  2. Set Custom CSS if required.
  3. Choose custom frame rate only when needed.
  4. Review when the page reloads or closes, Page permissions, and audio options.
  5. Set the Transition Point and track-matte options if used.
  6. Choose Refresh Browser Preview and check the transition.
  7. Save the settings.

Page reloads and permissions

Shut down when not visible releases the inactive page. Refresh when transition becomes active reloads it on activation. Grant only permissions needed by a trusted page.

Audio

Control browser audio through the mixer routes supported page sound into MCast audio controls. Browser audio volume %, scene audio fade style, and Audio monitoring determine the offered transition audio behavior.
