Audio filters and VST3 plug-ins

Process an input with built-in audio effects or an available VST3 plug-in.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Audio Mixer input menu > Filters.

Use it

  1. Open the input Filters.
  2. Choose Add MCast Filter for a built-in effect.
  3. For a plug-in, choose Add 3rd Party Filter.
  4. Select a discovered plug-in and choose Add.
  5. Adjust controls and check sound.
  6. Move filters into the required order.

Controls and additional tasks

Rescan refreshes standard VST3 folders. Open Plugin Interface opens the selected plug-in controls. Enable/bypass, Reset, Delete, and Save as Preset manage the chain. Filters run top to bottom; ordering changes their combined sound.
