Global audio devices and meter preferences
Keep selected desktop/microphone inputs available and choose monitoring defaults.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Settings > Audio.
Use it
- Refresh audio devices.
- Select the desktop and microphone slots you need.
- Set unused slots to Disabled.
- Choose Default Monitoring Output.
- Set Decay Rate and Peak Meter Type.
- Save.
Controls and additional tasks
Disabled slots do not capture audio. Show inactive sources and Keep inactive sources to the right organize the mixer. Disable system audio ducking prevents communications activity lowering monitor playback.
If something is wrong
If a device was disconnected, refresh and select an available replacement.
