Monitor broadcasts across open layouts

View active broadcast destinations and their delivery statistics without changing the output’s layout.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Status bar > Open Broadcasts (Application Broadcasts).

Set it up

  1. Open the layouts that have attached broadcast destinations.
  2. Open Application Broadcasts.
  3. Select the intended layout/destination.
  4. Review live state and statistics.
  5. Use its offered operation controls for that selected destination.

Statistics

SIZE / FPS and FRAME RATE describe the picture format/rate. VIDEO BITRATE and DATA SENT describe encoded delivery. DURATION records elapsed output time. FRAMES SENT counts sent frames; DROPPED FRAMES and RECONNECTS identify delivery trouble. PEAK ENCODER QUEUE indicates queued work. Review trends alongside the visible state.

Empty list

No open layout broadcasts means you need an open layout with broadcast destinations. No broadcast destinations for this layout means it has no applicable attachment; create and attach a Broadcast Output Profile first.

Avoid interrupting the wrong output

Check the destination and attached layout before Stop or Restart. Those operations affect the selected delivery session.
