Output resize policies
Choose how a picture fits a destination of a different size.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Output > Output Resize Policy.
Use it
- Enter Name.
- Choose Resize Mode.
- Choose Scale Quality.
- Set Padding Color.
- Save.
Controls and additional tasks
Fitting preserves the full picture with padding where needed. Filling can crop edges; stretching can change proportions. Padding Color sets uncovered areas.

| Name | Name used to identify this item in lists. |
| Resize Mode | How the picture fits the output rectangle. |
| Scale Quality | Quality/interpolation used for resizing. |
| Padding Color | Color of uncovered areas after fitting. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
