Audio presets
Save sample rate, channel count, and audio bitrate.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Output > Audio Preset.
Use it
- Choose New.
- Enter Name.
- Set Sample Rate (Hz).
- Choose Channels.
- Set Audio Bitrate (kbps).
- Save.
Controls and additional tasks
The codec profile selects the audio encoder; this preset controls rate, channels, and bitrate.
Control reference
| Control | Use |
|---|---|
| Name | Name used to identify this item in lists. |
| Sample Rate (Hz) | Number of audio samples per second. |
| Channels | Audio channel layout or count. |
| Audio Bitrate (kbps) | Encoded audio data rate; higher values usually increase file/network size. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
| New | Create a new item. |
| Edit | Edit the selected item. |
| Delete | Remove the selected saved item. |
| Close | Close this window. |
