Video presets
Save output size, frame rate, bitrate, keyframe interval, and rate-control settings.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
File > Output > Video Preset.
Use it
- Choose New.
- Enter Name.
- Choose Screen Size or Width/Height.
- Set FPS.
- Set bitrate, keyframe interval, and rate control.
- Save and select the preset in a layout or profile.
Controls and additional tasks
Larger resolution, FPS, and bitrate require more processing, bandwidth, or storage. Keyframe interval is measured in seconds. Choose destination-compatible values.
Control reference

|---|---|
| New | Create a new item. |
| Edit | Edit the selected item. |
| Delete | Remove the selected saved item. |
| Close | Close this window. |
| Name | Name used to identify this item in lists. |
| Screen Size | Set screen size for this item. |
| Width | Horizontal size in pixels. |
| Height | Vertical size in pixels. |
| FPS | Frames per second. |
| Video Bitrate (kbps) | Encoded video data rate; higher values usually increase file/network size. |
| Keyframe Interval (sec) | Seconds between full reference frames for compatible video encoding. |
| Rate Control Mode | How the encoder manages bitrate/quality. |
| Cancel | Close without saving the pending edits. |
