ISO recording and isolated tracks

Save isolated track-bus recordings alongside your recording workflow.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Recording Output Profile > ISO recording on and Audio Track.

Set it up

  1. Create or edit a Recording Output Profile.
  2. Enable ISO recording on.
  3. Open Audio Track and configure the required track buses.
  4. Set each enabled track’s folder where offered.
  5. Save and attach the recording profile.
  6. Record a short sample and stop it.
  7. Open each expected file and check its assigned sound.

What gets saved

Enabled track buses on this Recording Output create isolated files in that track’s folder. The tracks configured on this profile determine ISO recording; merely enabling the option does not define the tracks.

If an isolated file is missing

Check that the intended track is enabled, assigned to an available bus/input, and has a writable folder. Review the output validation message before restarting.
